Surprise Nintendo Direct Mini Glad to have Burnout return to a Nintendo console, but the suggested price tag has me feeling cautious. Never played Jedi Academy, but it’s another one of those games I might have to play at some point. The return of Clubhouse Games is a low key highlight. Played the DS version a lot. It was a good time waster, and I hope the Switch version will be just as good.

Never played Jedi Academy, but i am kind of interested in Star Wars Racer (again, like non-sim type racers).
Loved Clubhouse Games on the DS. I also hope this will be good.

You might get ffvii remake part 1 early… In Europe & Australia… Doesn't matter since it's not coming out on Xbox until... ? The tweet begs people not to spoil the surprises but PS4 players will probably be done with the game by the time the rest of can even get it. Exclusivity sucks.

Not having played it myself (but the kids loved the first one) is it worth an adults notice (namely me) and is this the game that will force me to buy all the kids a switch?

Not having played it myself (but the kids loved the first one) is it worth an adults notice (namely me) and is this the game that will force me to buy all the kids a switch? I found myself engaged in it, but I was an Animal Crossing fan (since Wild World). This version adds a different twist that may or may not entice people, you start on a desert island and build out the town, instead of having an established area already. In the previous game (New Leaf), you became the mayor of the village getting duties that reflected (loosely) that role. This time around, you are sort like the mayor (many tasks get foistered on you) but of a deserted isle, making the town eventually get bigger.
In New Horizons, there is more to do, and little tasks get presented to you all the time via the Nook phone you are given, earning you "Nook Miles" (eg. catch 5 fish, sell 20 clumps of weeds, etc). So if you feel that previous versions of the game were too aimless, this version gives you more direction. If you feel like you wanted pure freedom though, that might bug you.
One of the bummer things about having a mayor-like role though is that how Animal Crossing is now, only one person can really take advantage of the game on Switch. There is only one island her switch and only one lead character. Though you can have other people with their own villagers on your Switch, none of them will be able to fulfill the duties of the "mayor" (only you can expand the town, etc unless other people play your account). The others can play around on the island but none will be able to play the whole game unless they log in as you. So if the kids want the full animal crossing experience, either you let them play your character, or prepare to buy switches and games for each person.
It's fun though.

It's fun though. Great info sd. So if i get them all one, is there any connectivity between them - can visit my island for example or team up for a challenge (whatever that might be)? (Understanding I'd have to pay Tendo for each Switch to go wifi)
