So how long before Syfy options this eagle's story for "Mega Eagle vs Giant Octopus!"? I would not be surprised if you dig through their library and they actually have that.

Holy shit! As I'm writing this, an ocean has dropped on my house! Strongest rain I've seen since the late 90s, and it isn't stopping. Which is a problem for me, since I've been nursing some milkweed plants for the better part of a year in the hopes of trying to attract Monarch Butterflies...and their caterpillars. Just about a week ago, I finally found one munching on those milkweed leaves, (very pretty little critter BTW, green and yellow tiger stripes), and I'm afraid it will be knocked right off that plant and drowned...

I have to say, it's almost...alarming how heavy this rain is, and how it's not stopping. People in the burn areas will be in big trouble. Edit: So the rain slacked off to a mere downpour, enough for me to got outside with a flashlight and an umbrella, (which didn't help), and...damn if the little beauty isn't still there, clinging to the underside of a leaf! Good for him or her! I hope it can cocoon properly what with all the rain and cold scheduled for the next few days, (yes, more very heavy rain of Christmas Day). I spent a year caring for those damn unsightly weeds just to get some of these critters to lay eggs on them and give me pretty butterflies, so I want my critter to fly.

Damn. Sometimes you just hate being human. www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-50901159I hope they catch whoever is doing this; someone like that is a threat not just to horses IMO, but to people. A serial killer in the making, I would guess.
