In the, "Where the Hell is Zechs?" thread Chap posted this today: Oh Zechs...poor deluded fool. Killing Titans for shock value goes FAR longer than Graduation Day. Don Hall and Kole we’re both sacrificed at the altar of shock value way back in the OG event book, COIE. It got me thinking of Kole and her current status as a character. She was of course killed off in Crisis on Infinite Earth, but it's not like that's a deterrent for a character returning to the land of the living anymore. In recent years most of the past members of the Teen Titans have been used in stories by various writers, but Kole hasn't tended to be one of them. I got curious about what you guys think of her. Is she just not a great character? I don't remember her being that bad and she couldn't have been any worse than Gnarrk the Caveboy, who has been used quite a bit recently. So, why do you think that DC seems to be overlooking Kole?

So, why do you think that DC seems to be overlooking Kole? From what I recall of Kole, which isn't much, she was a weepy sort who always bemoaned her uselessness during her brief time in the Titans. I agree with a long-ago comment that her sole purpose in Teen Titans was to have a wall dropped on her in COIE.

She was in Teen Titans Earth One. Cool, good to know she hasn't been completely overlooked.

Her. So forgettable, one doesn't even remember Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez drawing her.

Marv Wolfman has said that he created Kole for the sole purpose of dying in CoiE. And Kole was in the (much more recent) Titans Convergence issues - written by Marv.
