All my recent talk about Final Fantasy had me itching to play again, so I picked up XV Royal Edition for $10 at Walmart today. Haven't played an FF game since X or XI (which I didn't really care for because it seemed like the tutorial took 10 hours or so).

I've been playing Apex Legends on PS4. Really digging the Halo/Gears of War meets Battle Royale vibe.

Got my hands on a free copy of Kingdom Hearts III over the weekend. I have had enough time to play...the introduction...

Still, the game looks gorgeous and I'm really digging it so far.

PS Vita production ending soon in Japan

PS Vita will soon end production in Japan, according to the official Japanese PlayStation website. The pages for the PCH-2000 ZA11 (PS Vita Black) and PCH-2000 ZA23 (PS Vita Aqua Blue) SKUs, which are the only two remaining PS Vita models in production in Japan, mention that “shipments are scheduled to end soon.”

Sony Interactive Entertainment, which manufactures PS Vita, had previously confirmed that production of the handheld will end in 2019.

After more than 15 notable years at Nintendo of America, and nearly 13 as its President and COO, Reggie Fils-Aime will retire. His last day with Nintendo will be April 15. Doug Bowser, NOA’s current Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, will then succeed Reggie as President of Nintendo of America.

“I really appreciate everything Reggie has done for Nintendo,” said Shuntaro Furukawa, President of Nintendo Co., Ltd. “Inside and outside our company, Reggie is known as an exceptional leader. We are grateful that he is leaving the business in good shape with strong momentum. While we will miss him and we wish him the very best in his retirement, we are also pleased to have such an able successor ready to step into that role. Doug Bowser and the rest of the team will ensure a seamless transition and continued momentum for Nintendo.”
