Ick. The sky is a weird bruise color, and the sun is a burning red. San Fran has orange skies with what looks to be reduced visibility, as do parts of Oregon, all from the fires. And of course the ash fall... Brace yourself, you are now part of a DC event

Yes, I'll be in the Matter Eater Lad book, the one that nobody will get. And the DCU will be changed forever, or until the next panel.

Interesting, sucky, and something I could have told them simply by stepping outside; we have the worst air quality in over 30 years, due to all the fires. I haven't seen our sun in a couple of days, apparently Krypton's sun has taken its place. People are cautioned not to go outside unless necessary, and not to exercise. Which is of course a no go, since it's leg day, and if Cap never skips leg day, how can I? Weird, I've never seen the word "smoke" in the forecast for an entire county before, much less for most of CA and much of Oregon too...

I will survive it, but I will be retconned into an evil killer robot or something.

Thanks. I will survive it, but I will be retconned into an evil killer robot or something. I look forward to the new Trinity with Achilles, Cyborg and Harley Quinn

At the moment there are four storms in the Atlantic. Sally will be a threat to Louisiana and Paulette is a threat to Bermuda.

They name almost everything that becomes a tropical storm whether or not it's a threat to land.

Holy crap how did I miss this one?
Did a lot of damage and did cause death, but the tiny good thing is it seems it was kind of fast and is moving out of the area (I think they have another tropical storm in the area too)
