Thread to talk about Star Wars (try to keep it as positive as possible please, criticism is okay but let's not have it bog down basically a "fan" thread). As of this thread's creation, the animated Star Wars: Resistance is airing, the final chapter of the Skywalker saga - Star Wars Episode IX - is due out in December, and the streaming show Mandalorian should be out later in the year.

This is a great podcast who go deep and bring you positive insight into Star Wars lore and production and bring you. If you are a fan of Star Wars and looking for something new to listen to I cannot recommend this enough.

Star Wars: Resistance -- I'm enjoying it but it is a very, very, very slow burn of a show. 21 minutes of episode story and 1 minute of moving the overarching storyline.

I don't hate Resistance, but man they gotta make Kaz a little less incompetent. I don't mind him being green, but sometimes he is way too dumb. I do kind of like the trappings of the new series, it is definitely different. |

Agree, I think they are moving him in that direction and even now I think he is less of a bumbling mess than when the show started but still 15 episodes in it feel like "Ok, what is Kaz going to do dumb this time." The main issue I see is that I'm sure creators do not want to have a mirror character growth like Ezra in Rebels so they have to keep Ezra always making mistakes. |
