I've been reading House of Whispers from Vertigo. While it isn't the best thing on my pull list every month, I have been enjoying it. The thing I like best about it is the way the voodoo religion isn't an absolute bad or good thing -- it just is. The series also comes across as having been well researched. There have been a few times where I decided to check out online some of the things talked about in each issue and wasn't surprised to find our those things were base on real life fact. It's nice to see as that particular religion hasn't always come across in the best light in this medium in the past. Hell, this has to be one of the worst costumes I've ever seen  :  Anyone have any thoughts on this? |
