Caine is IMO another of the best actors I've ever seen. He can do anything in acting better than just about anyone. This was Caine's first major role. If you can past the colonial attitudes, it's a great suspense, siege, and war movie about the Battle of Rourke's Drift.

Certainly one of the best of my lifetime. Held his own with the likes of Sir Laurence Olivier. Not too shabby.

Sean Connery and Caine together again with Christopher Plummer, who IIRC played Rudyard Kipling. Great movie, but ultimately sad. Caine's wife was also in this.

Netflix of course. One of the best manhunter movies I've seen as they hunt Bonnie and Clyde, based on the true story. Awesome noirish movie set in Texas, OK, and Louisiana. They're both awesome here.

Has there ever been a "Chucky vs Leprechaun vs Alien" movie? Because there should be.

There are some movies I've never seen for no real reason. E.T., Close Encounters, Footloose, Schindler's List, and a few others.

There are some movies I've never seen for no real reason. E.T., Close Encounters, Footloose, Schindler's List, and a few others. Are you Tamara Chambers? No, I'm actually Doctor Doom. I had to look up that reference, but good one! I don't know why I haven't seen any of those, I have never actively avoided them, and I want to see them, but I've just never done. I just heard the song "Footloose" in my doctor's office, which got me thinking about that movie and the others. Trivia? This weekend's box office champ was...Jurassic Park, with Jaws coming in second. Yeah, Universal doesn't have new content to release, or at least doesn't want to waste it yet. Weird times we live in. I'm beginning to really get the old Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times".
