What made me think of making this thread was seeing the original Police Academy on TV. Seeing it again made me remember just how funny and good it actually was. I somehow forgot that fact with how bad all of the sequels were. Anyone else have a film like that where the like and think the first film is good, but feel that that fact gets overshadowed by a whole bunch of bad sequels?

While I don't know if I think the first live-action Transformers movie was good (I thought it was decent and gave the future movies potential), the rest were horribad.
Bumblebee was better than anything after TF#1 though.

Highlander jumps at the top of the list. Nope, there are no sequels to Highlander. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Friday the 13th Halloween With horror movies I'd also throw in A Nightmare on Elm Street.

My brother keeps telling me that there was a fourth Indiana Jones movie, some nonsense involving crystal skulls and aliens. He's lying of course, there isn't. Nobody would be stupid enough to believe that such a movie would be good...

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Friday the 13th Halloween With horror movies I'd also throw in A Nightmare on Elm Street. I might have said Night of the Living Dead but Dawn of the Dead was so much better and really needs to be the only one you ever see.
