Yeah, I see that and I'm guilty of a couple "appreciation" threads myself. Dozens of threads with nothing but random pictures that are forgotten by the next post of another random picture, shake rinse and repeat (times 10, 20 30 different threads). Just seems 'meh' to me as we're starting a new site. Right? I'm not opposed to an appreciation thread here or there but if you are just arbitrarily throwing out appreciation threads all wily nilly, then it sorta undercuts the whole thing. I had considered that the joke that went on the side of the appreciation itself Like the slice of dill pickle on the side of fries at a restaurant (But im the person who sees the good in everything that DC didnt make, so...)
