I was kind of hoping the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover would entice me back to the Arrowverse shows. Sadly, it did the opposite. Started well enough but, for me, got progressively less entertaining as it went along.

I don't know if the finale to Arrow was the best episode of the series, but it was up there. Nothing but happy endings, bringing back pretty much everyone from the series who mattered, {Spoiler} Diggle finding the Green Lantern ring! And I hope that last carries on in you know what... And of course the final reveal...the ultimate happy ending. So...in a word, pretty much a huge feel good episode. And of course {Spoiler} Ragman! In action again! Flash! Supergirl! Re-ordered reality according to what Ollie wanted, with interesting results and more guest stars from the past!

Probably as good an Arrow series finale as you could hope for. I still think the season 7 finale, had you cut it off right before the Monitor showed up, was better (certainly happier), but this was good too. Dig's eulogy was really great. And I loved that he got himself a GL ring but we don't necessarily ever have to see him use it. Perfect end for him.
Roy and Thea got their happy ending.
John Byrne as a human trafficker. And hot damn that was a terrific action sequence in the middle...I'd love to know exactly how many dudes Ollie took out in that raid. While it's not exactly a pocket universe, Ollie and Felicity getting the pocket universe treatment from COIE is perfect.
And they got just about all the really important cameos in. The only major ones really missing were Malcolm, Slade, and Walter. Would've been nice to see them too, but I was really glad that Tommy, Lance, and Moira were all saved by Ollie-Spectre. Those were really the most important ones to bring back.
All in all a really good farewell ep, and capped off what I feel like was the show's second best season overall. S2 S8 S5 2nd half S1 S7 1st half S1 S3 S6 S4

And of course...the bit incorporating the "Powerless" universe into Earth Prime...

I was kind of hoping the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover would entice me back to the Arrowverse shows. Sadly, it did the opposite. Started well enough but, for me, got progressively less entertaining as it went along. You know, since COIE aired, I haven't watched any Arrowverse shows save for the final episode of Arrow. It wasn't a conscious decision, just that when they were on, I could just never be bothered to put aside an hour of my life. I had other things to do. I must say, it'll take something really special to bring me back to the Arrowverse, though I might check out Lois and Clark, or whatever they're calling it. Three episodes though, that's what it gets to impress me. And I suppose I'll check out Stargirl if it's airing on the CW. But I wouldn't pay to see it. Don't get me wrong, there ARE DC things I'd pay to see. A Netflix level of funding for a full-on JSA, not just some thing to push Johns' creation or play supporting roles in other shows. And it would have to be the classic modern line-up, though I wouldn't be averse to a few flashback All-Star Squadron or McCarthy days. A Blue and Gold show, or a JLI show. Possibly a Mandalorian level DC space adventure, maybe LEGION/REBELS, or a space Kryptonian saga with Kryptonian characters that are relevant. Who knows, but none of this is it.

As counterpoint to the Negative Nellies in here, my thoughts post-Crisis:
Batwoman has put out 3 pretty strong episodes in a row, doing some fun stuff with Beth/Alice and introducing Nocturna, a character I've always had a soft spot for ever since her debut in the 80s under Moench/Colan.
Supergirl's 100th episode this past weekend (with Thomas Lennon playing Mxy in a "It's a Wonderful Life"-style ep) may be the best episode of the whole show. It's certainly in the top 2 or 3 IMO (granted, that's a low bar to cross).
Flash has finally introduced Sue, and she's an interesting take on the character, and last night gave us a return from Grodd, which is always fun and feels like a big deal.
And Legends has been its normal delightful self.
There has been some Crisis-induced wonkiness in the status quos of each show, but that wonkiness is at least being addressed in-show, while not being SO egregious as to detract from the actual stories. I've enjoyed all 4 (while saving BL to watch during the summer in binge-mode after everything goes on hiatus).

Will be interesting to see how they handle that on the show.

Yeah, at some point they'll have to deal with it. Probably means someone else will be doing the superheroing on the show for a while. And if she doesn't simply take leave, or if they can't shoot around obvious signs, then an interesting story (probably not; it'll be dumb) to explain it.
