Character actor Michael J. Pollard, known for his many roles in the 60s, 70s and 80s, died Nov. 21. He was nominated for a best supporting actor Oscar for Bonnie and Clyde. Other notable roles were in Roxanne with Steve Martin, Scrooged with Bill Murray and Rob Zombie's Night of 1000 Corpses, as well as TOS Star Trek ("Miri"), and Lost in Space ("The Magic Mirror").
With the passing of both Michael J. Pollard and Gahan Wilson, yesterday was a hard day for fans of the sf and fantasy genre and me personally. Mr. Pollard was one of my favorite character actors for many years.
My condolences to his family and loved ones.

I remember him in the "Miri" episode of Star Trek. A creepy story. He was memorable in it.

I remember him in the "Miri" episode of Star Trek. A creepy story. He was memorable in it. It was, and he was. They did some good stories with some good guests back in that day.
