Just today, pre-orders for the first collection of the Five Year Gap era went up. It may not be most people favorite era but it's earned a hard cover treatment.
Dense. The series is just so bloody dense. Keith Giffen plots and pencils with Tom & Mary Bierbaum weave so much into it. So many books today are read cover to cover in just a few minutes. These books take time, and it's worth the investment where even the letter pages help fill in the stories.
I can only hope future editions will include the Mayfair Sourcebook material - so much more adding to the 30th Century universe. I'd love to also see the Addendum with all the stuff that didn't make the Sourcebook (and only available to Interlac members at the time (like me  )).
$50 on Amazon but I predict InStockTrades to peddle it around $30.
