At this time, it is not confirmed yet whether it will be the TV anime's second season or something else.

The series will debut on Crunchyroll on April 1 at 10:30 AM EDT. The anime will premiere in Japan on the same day at 24:30 JST (effectively April 2 at 12:30 a.m.). The website teased the anime would also have a simultaneous release in South Korea.

Saudi Arabian media company Manga Productions revealed on Monday that it and Toei Animation are collaborating on a new animated television series titled Future's Folktales (Asatir: Mirai no Mukashibanashi) that will premiere in Japan on J Tele on April 4, and it will have 13 episodes.
The series' story is set in Riyadh in the year 2050, and centers on a grandmother named Asmaa telling folktales from the Arabian Peninsula to her three grandchildren.
The public television broadcaster NHK announced on Tuesday that Aiko Koyama's Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san (Makanai in the Maiko Lodge) manga is inspiring an anime. NHK will reveal more details about the anime at a later date. It is also streaming a promotional video on its website.
The manga's story is set in Kyoto's "hanamachi" geisha quarter. Here, after geisha finish their work late at night, they spend the night resting at a lodge to prepare for the next day. The story centers on Kiyo, an Aomori native who works as a cook in a geisha lodge in Kyoto after finishing junior high school and leaving home. She also has a friend named Sumire who is a maiko, or apprentice geisha.
