I've wondered for a long time, does ANYone in a choir or concert band ACTUALLY take their cues from the conductor during a performance?? Because when I was in a concert band, I sure didn't! So when I see this Christmas choir in individual squares that probably performed over Zoom, I have to wonder if the conductor shown by himself in the middle of a computer-generated white nowhere is EVEN MORE uselessly waving his hands than the usual conductor!
