Right-wingers KNOW that they have to use EVERY underhanded CHEAT and SCHEME to win, because their policies and priorities are lousy, and their constituents are getting older and grayer. So here's Wisconsin Republicans, forcing people to vote during a pandemic! Voters have to either risk their lives on the possibility that they might catch a disease that can end their lives, or surrender their right to vote! It's typical right-wing VOTER SUPPRESSION tactics, hoping that people will choose to preserve their health, so that juuuust enough Republicans can vote in order to retain their state Supreme Court judge, and thus continue their gerrymandering and other plots undisturbed. Oh, and just to add insult to infection, here's Wisconsin Republican Robin Vos, CLAIMING that it's safe to come out and vote, WHILE WEARING ALL THIS GEAR TO PROTECT HIMSELF! If it's so "safe," Robbie, WHY DON'T YOU COME OUT OF ALL THAT ARMOR AND PLAY?? Like their overtanned Fuhrer, right-wingers are piss-poor LIARS and blatant HYPOCRITES. smh

Sadly, we won't have Larry Dav...no, Bernie Sanders to kick around anymore. He's pulled out of the race for the Democratic nod in order to concentrate on yelling at kids to get off his lawn. That leaves Biden as the only Democrat who still has a chance at winning the race for a Senate seat, for some state or other, he's not quite certain which.

Heh, the Dow surged 700 points on the news that Comrade Bernie dropped out of the race; who'd have thunk it?

Tim Brooke-Taylor died today. If you never heard of the Goodies, you missed out. TBT - without whom, Monty Python might never have happened. 1940-2020. Farewell.

Apparently not from covid RIP Sorry to hear about this. I usually enjoyed Mr. Dennehy's performances. RIP, brotherman.

Apparently not from covid RIP Aw, damn. He was one of my very favorites, and one of the best character actors around. RIP Brian, who also starred in another of my favs, F/X.

Not a news item, but a question I can't seem to get answers for elsewhere. Suppose I got less than I was expecting for a federal tax refund, what do I do? I tried calling them on their website number...but they're using COVID as an excuse to officially not answer their phones. Nor do they have an online appeals process that's currently working, and their tax centers are all closed. In other words, there doesn't seem to be any appeal mechanism this year...
Anyone have any ideas?

Interesting, unconfirmed news reports from all over indicate North Korea's Kim whatever the rest of his name is....is in critical condition after some sort of heart surgery. Can you imagine his obituary? Kim Jung Yu is dead. He was preceded in death by his, Mother, Father, 6 brothers, 3 sisters, 14 Uncles, 12 Aunts, 45 cousins, 3072 generals, 30,341 other army guys, and 2,735,212 citizens. He is survived by, uhm, er..., who didn't he have killed? C'mon there has to be at least one? What about - no he's dead too. Oh well. . . . . . . . . . . . .Rodman! He didn't kill Dennis Rodman! Phew.
