RIP Mythbuster's Grant Imahara. He was 49, cause of death not disclosed at this time. He also worked on the Star Wars prequels, Jurassic Park movies, and others for ILM. Edit: Another source says he died of a brain aneurysm. It's been a sad couple of years for the Mythbusters crew.

Sadly the 2021 Rose Parade has been cancelled, due to the coronavirus. Travel bans problems with flights, risk of transmission. Pretty sure the college football season is toast as well. In other sports news, the Grand Sumo tourney for this month is going off, while the last one was cancelled. The news here though is that they are going to allow fans in, up to 25% capacity. I think Japanese Pro baseball has already allowed some fans recently. Possibly Korean pro baseball too. Maybe the Taiwanese league.

This keeps up, you won't have anyone to awkwardly converse with when you buy condoms.

So we all know 2020 sucks big time. But...occasionally, there is a story that renews your faith in our species. This one's from a broadcast news program, so no linky, but if anyone finds it, feel free to post. There was this couple who were on the road for reasons I didn't hear, but they noticed an old guy at the rest stop looking confused, so they talked to him, (he's in his 80s), and found he was on his way cross country to visit his son for the first time in 19 years. But he was lost, hungry, and out of gas. They gassed his car for him got him a meal, and carefully wrote directions for him, and included their phone number should he get into any more trouble. Twenty minutes later, he did and called, so they found him, and actually escorted him all the way to his destination, a cross-country trip. I can't emphasize this enough, they went cross country for a total stranger. And then they plan on doing it in reverse, to be sure he gets home to Arizona.
What can you say about these folks, save thank you. And a certain biblical story comes to mind.

RIP Peter Green, Fleetwood Mac Founder.Considered the best blues guitarist of the 1960s, and a guy who got the highest praise from no less than B.B. King, he was in his 70s. This was by the way the original Fleetwood Mac, not the later more pop version.

Stuff is getting real in the Epstein-Maxwell case. Unsealed court documents reveal some interesting names. For example, the name "Bill Clinton", a person who seems to have visited "Orgy Isle" multiple times, once according to a witness in the company of a woman and two young girls. That's all the juicy, (ew), stuff for now, and nothing on guys like Prince Andrew or the evil guy in Saudi, the one who murdered that guy in their embassy in Turkey. Yet. Hopefully, we will all get to see some very powerful and very dirty people squirm a lot... Justice Finally Arriving?
