They could have tried harder to not make it resemble the Houses of Mystery & Secrets so much (because that's all I've ever thought they were too. ) I have to admit that the thought crossed my mind too, even before my friend pointed it out.

So the House has a name - and it's more silly than creative. And - SPOILERS!!!!... Of all the heroes Vision could have called - he sure called some that he's never had much of a history with. He chooses people like Electra and Cable over former teammates like Tigra, Quicksilver or his brother Wonder Man? Nice to see Power Man looking like Power Man, but what a wasted opportunity to not show some in-limbo heroes (i.e. Black Knight, Justice, Firestar, etc.) It wasn't a bad mini, it had it's good moments (like the narration being a different hero each issue) and it's bad (the raccoon - did he even do anything the whole that merited his inclusion?). Lastly, loved the opening splash page. Great to see them giving JB's West Coast Avengers a nod! (eat it Chappy - you too SD )

It all came across as one fun homage to Marvel's history to me. The issue overall was maybe a bit anti-climatic with the main story over by the half way point of the issue. I have to say that I enjoyed the hell out of this series overall and that the teases at the end were all fun. I'm hoping right now that the creative team behind this gets a third series.

The Olympians' rebirth reminds me of the New Gods.
