Just announced (officially) Sword & Shield due "late" 2019. Setting is Galar (I didn't recognize what it relates to in our world) Starters are: Grookey (grass chip) Scorbunnt (fire rabbit) Sobble (water lizard) And they hinted at something else later this year.  |

Seeing the land image now (and not a .5 second bit of video) and I can see England and Scotland now. Not sure why Wales was removed.
As for Northern Ireland/Ireland, I wouldn't mind seeing that as possible post-game island to visit.
Long time Poke-posters know I always start with Grass - and this time I get the best looking one!
Looks like I just might be getting a Switch sometime soon - and I would wish they'd go back to the mid-October (my b-day) release instead the mid-Nov like Sun/Moon to present.

Switch schedule looks to be packed this year (if they can keep their games to 2019 and not let it slip). I wouldn't be surprised if Sword/Shield releases in December like Xenoblade did.
The video also said there would be more Pokémon projects this year too. Not sure if those are small eshop games or something more involved.

A new trailer has been published for Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, an upcoming theatrical anime movie that remakes 1998's Pokémon: The First Movie as a fully 3DCG feature film. It was also revealed that Masachika Ichimura is returning as the Japanese voice of Mewtwo. |
