Initial thoughts...
You don't get to a PC for almost 45 minutes so I missed out on a number of battles I could have taken - and then you're thrown into a mandatory battle with knocked out or low HP survivors.
But spoiler - somehow everyone is magically healed. While it made for an easy fight, where's the frickin' challenge?
Gym battles aren't even battles - it's hide and seek.
First impression - they continue to nerf the game play.
Hoping it gets better the further in it goes.

That said, hopefully it doesn't get as tough as trying to capture Arceus in Arcues. That mofou can just rot in Pokemon hell.  |

I went further in the game, past the lower level areas, and the game is much better challenge. I'll revsiit the low areas once I get a good catcher to complete the Pokedex.
