Trying out Disney+. Have to say, this 4K transfer of Star Wars is pretty impressive!

I can't find an official (or semi-official) source for this but, it would be cool for a Feb 17 release with 12 eps in the season.
I think the source of the news was the Disney blog Oh My Disney! but it was since deleted.

Im excited for Clone Wars continuation. At worst, its something to watch until Mandalorian season 2. I'm hoping for good things. It took a few episodes for me to warm up to it (I did not like the movie which gave a bad first impression), but ended up really liking it.
There will be some tie-in (probably not directly at all) to the Mandalorian, since they will cover the Siege of Madalore.

“Star Wars” Declining Fortunes as “Skywalker” Nears Billion Dollars But Way Behind Last 2 FilmsFrom the commentary: “Skywalker” shows “Star Wars” fatigue. It’s not quite at $1 billion, and it’s getting ready to say goodbye. Disney will keep it in movie theaters for a while but the big push is over. There is no Star Wars "fatigue." The Mandalorian demonstrates there is still a market out there waiting to be tapped. It is just that the last couple of movies have been poor. Poorly thought out, poorly researched and poorly executed.
