“Star Wars” Declining Fortunes as “Skywalker” Nears Billion Dollars But Way Behind Last 2 FilmsFrom the commentary: “Skywalker” shows “Star Wars” fatigue. It’s not quite at $1 billion, and it’s getting ready to say goodbye. Disney will keep it in movie theaters for a while but the big push is over. There is no Star Wars "fatigue." The Mandalorian demonstrates there is still a market out there waiting to be tapped. It is just that the last couple of movies have been poor. Poorly thought out, poorly researched and poorly executed. Yes because hit movies are always of great quality. I don't understand what you are going for here.

I don't know if there is Star Wars fatigue. I do believe that there is a narrative that is trying to create it in some circles. Star Wars has its ebbs and flows. It gets popular, then the popularity wanes.
It's certainly not the huge force it was back in the late 70s, early 80s, but it ain't dead and will likely rise (and fall) again.
My comment was just that I don't know of the quality is what determines whether it is doing well or not (though yes, it has *some* effect, I just don't think right now it is an outsized effect)

Okay. Mine was I do not think there is any actual "Star Wars fatigue."

Not sure if true, but that's a bummer if true. I was not really excited by an Obi-Wan series, but do like the actor, and chow directed my favorite episodes of The Mandalorian…
