So, that thing goes 0-5 so far in Outhou...er, I mean Comics Pit reactions so far. The suspense is killing...er, someone. Will an Outhou...er, a denizen of the den of iniquity known as Comics Pit actually LIKE this thing, or will it remain lonely and unloved?
Achilles is the kind of evil that hollows out a volcano for a lair, and sends killer robots after his enemies.---Lord Simian

It's not what I think of when I think "the Joker", but the same could be true of certain other "official" incarnations.
I'm someone that doesn't think Joker needs an origin, but the trailer seemed fine to me. This is unconnected to the primary "sometimes-hit-or-sweet-merciful-crap-where-were-you-aiming" DCEU, so it's not like it's establishing anything encompassing. Or, maybe it'll end with a different actor playing Mr. J recounting the story as just a possible origin. What a twist would that be?
If you want something done, it's going to take time. If you want something done right, it's going to take longer.
