Saw this earlier today. It all makes sense now. "A gathering of covidiots is known as a covfefe". I sort of forget, was that him trying to spell "coffee"? Other than that, I can't imagine what he meant. Hey...a Trump to English dictionary! I could write one and clean up! Science would finally understand his speeches! I might even win a Nobel Prize!

Okay, I have to admit this one's funny. In San Clemente, CA, about 30 minutes from me, there's a skateboard area of pools, ramps, rails and the like, (it's a beach town), that was ordered closed for social distancing rules. But soon the authorities noticed that no one cared it was "closed", so they filled the area up with sand. Which momentarily stopped the skateboarders, mostly because the dirt bikers then claimed the area. And when THEY left, the locals helped the skaters shovel the place out... I can't wait to see what they try next.

Whoa, You Knew This Was Coming.Still, if they go through with it, with all the implications...it's huge. Abandoning a theatrical model...from a company as huge as Warner Brothers, and more generally, ATT, in favor of streaming purchase release followed by HBO Max.... Especially if others like say Disney follow suit. I think it's a given that many theaters and chains won't survive this, so it's an obvious move.

Dunno how accurate this is (I think the dolphin video was not accurate, but of a location further away than implied), but it is nice if so

With films like Harley Quinn, the Invisible Man, Sonic, etc. doing well (if not better) that they would have in the cinemas, I think covideo might just be here to stay too.

There goes the days of the tribe gathering around the fire to hear stories.

Okay so not just tigers. I don't think there is evidence they can pass it along to humans though.

And Gavin Newsom Was Doing So Well...The immediate suspicion is of course some sort of graft. But he could settle the whole thing by disclosing the requested information. To flatly refuse multiple requests from the media and even members of his own party to dimply disclose the contract details....man that's suspicious, and their excuse just doesn't begin to hold water. Meanwhile, sadly Japan now seems to start getting really hit by COVID. Of course they still haven't shut down squat, and are mingling in crowds, so maybe they'd better start addressing that. Hopefully they can head it off before it really gets grim.

In South Carolina the public schools will be closed for the rest of the school year and the state parks will reopen May 1st.
