Soylent Green has already made a cameo appearance by some academic fools from Denmark IIRC, as a suggestion. I heard the guy plans a franchise in the US, but he's getting flack for his concept of closing on Sunday...

So Trump pulls our troops out and that lets Turkey go in to get rid of the Kurds. The world cries foul so Trump sends Pence to make a deal that involves getting rid of the Kurds. Turkey gets a win-win, the US gets nothing and the Kurds get shit on.

Yeah, using off-label drugs for things not specifically approved is common practice, but not in such a case. 7 year olds just can't make such decisions, which BTW have been shown to increase very considerably suicide rates among those who've had their tally wacker whacked, (unsurprising considering it's not really a choice they can take back). And the drugs used are quite dangerous. What this sounds like is a bitter divorce where the mother is using her son as a weapon against the father. That, or she really is completely insane, and the courts decided that's fine as long as it's that woke. So she's going to mess up this kid's life just to get at her husband, or alternatively because she really believes he needs to be a girl. Which means that according to the stats on such things, he's likely to be so screwed up, he'll be at vastly greater risk for offing himself later in life, assuming he survives the drugs they're going to give him, by no means certain. On a related piece, I noted a story on CNN (which was a fawning bit BTW, they LIKE this nutcase's message. It was a woman with two white teenage sons that she evidently hates with a passion, (maybe some people shouldn't have kids), because they're...white...and male...and therefore WILL become Nazis. Interesting world view there, fairly common among a certain crowd. All I can say is that I feel so sorry for her kids. This person felt it necessary to publically throw shade on her own kids... I'm not posting a link here as it's a disgusting editorial IIRC, by mostly because I'm a lazy jerk who can't be bothered. Probably still up on CNN if I know that site.

Sometimes the news just brightens your day with the incredible stupidity it shows. For example, this week we found out Mitt Romney's "Hi guys, I'm still relevant" secret identity, um...no, I'm NOT making this up...Pierre Delecto. Presumably he's Carlos Danger's second cousin. Why do guys like Romney or convicted pedo and former Dem Congressman, (and I'm fairly sure the guy with the most honest name in the world, Anthony Weiner actually IS a man, since his thing was sending dick pics to underage girls), choose alter egos with names like those?
It's worth noting BTW where that quote Romney gave when copping to the nom de sex, that whole "C'est moi" business came from, and what that says about the man. It's from a famous, (to assclowns like me who amass trivia), quote from the Sun King himself, "L'etat c'est moi" (the state, it's me). Yeah, the American aristocrat quotes one of the worst aristocrats in history, probably because he thinks he's just like Louis the 14th.
Meanwhile, there's Rosario Dawson, a name anyone on this board probably knows. She's the GF of Spartacus, (Corey Booker, Democratic Presidential candidate who fancies himself quite a bit, and is running in part against "transphobia". Yes, the Marvel Netflix star, (and of way too many other genre stuff to even mention), is being sued by her former handy...er...man? I'm not quite sure from the articles if this person was a woman wanting to be a man, (which is what it seems to me), or the other way around. But he or she is suing Dawson and her family alleging trans abuse, actual physical abuse as well as nasty words. I don't know, the whole thing sounds just about odd enough to be true. Dawson BTW famously refused to endorse her BF Spartacus, (no, he gave himself the nickname when he likened himself, (seriously), to the historical character, or maybe Kirk Douglas, I'm not sure, during the Kavanaugh hearings for his bravery in bravely disclosing information that was not classified and in fact has been disclosed earlier. Which of course is right up there with leading a doomed rebellion against the Romans. Possibly he might have thought that one through and recalled what actually happened to Spartacus.
