Of the four protagonist characters that took over Superman's books in the immediate wake of the Death of Superman, which do you think has had the most interesting, (or best), history? Which do you prefer? Which don't you like? I'm just interested in thoughts in general on these four

I'm not a big fan of Superman or related titles. I know which one Zechs would pick. Not really a fan of any of their current incarnations, but for a while I thought Superboy was kind of fun.
At least they fared better in prominence than the Slingers folks.

Superboy was the funnest and most enjoyable (Karl Kesel and Grummett were the best team too) Cyborg Superman was interesting because he was the closest to possibly being the actual Superman. (Jurgens was always set to do a great job) Eradicator never really made sense to me (Stern wasn't typical Stern and Guice was always 'meh' to me) Steel (despite valiant efforts by Weezie and Bog) was just an Iron Man suit and ridiculous hammer thing.

At least they fared better in prominence than the Slingers folks. Slingers was a bad idea when it came to launching a new group of characters. With Spider-Man using those four IDs first then giving the costumes and names to a set of new characters, Marvel gave most fans no good reason to be interested in them
