I've been reading Chip Zsarsky's current run on Invaders and I'd say that it's a good example of the fact that a lot of characters that were created in the Golden Age of Comics are timeless and can be used in any era. There are some character that that isn't true of though. I'd say that the Blue Blade is a good example of that:  The biggest one I can think of though would be the Shadow. Are there any characters you guys can think of that this is true of as well? |

The biggest one I can think of though would be the Shadow. Really? I think the Shadow works in pretty much any era. Eh, you can pull the Shadow off in any era, but he works best back in the day. And I say that as a huge fan of the character. |

 Wesley Dodds original Sandman. I loved Sandman Mystery Theatre, but wearing a suit and gas mask to solve crimes doesn’t seem practical for today. |

The Gay Ghost would be a social justice warrior, destroying those evil people who would laugh at someone and discriminate against those who are gay.
