I'm glad it has done so well, and I hope this really opens the door for more female led super-movies. Especially if one of those is Squirrel-Girl or Gwenpool. Hopefully, DC will look at the character in DC most like Captain Marvel---Power Girl, and give her a movie. All DC ever does are the usual suspects, and WW and Supergirl, Stargirl, Starfire, the Canaries, Huntresses, and worst of all, Harley Quinn.

Power Girl is a hard sell without first setting up a successful Superman and Supergirl movie, because PG is also a Kryptonian and is an alternate of Supergirl, but I agree with the general thrust of your argument. DC needs to start raiding its deep catalogue rather than just going for the same old faces.

Captain Marvel should be coming out on Blu-Ray this week. Can't wait to pick up the steel book and finally get a chance to watch it.
