I am happy the left wing nuts were not allowed to follow through with firing Gunn over those tweets. There is a major difference in calling for someone to be fired over Tweets or comments that were made by a person who has shown remorse, apologized, and not continued to display the same actions or mindset and calling for someone to be fired over Tweets or comments that were made by a person who has shown no remorse, has not apologized, and have continued to display the same mind-set and actions that led to people calling for them to be fired in the first place. Thankfully, Gunn has shown himself to be in the former rather than the latter. In fact, you could even say that Disney stood by their...Gunns... ...if you wanted too. Yeah. Maybe we shouldn't believe the "Date rape isn't rape" troll the next time he calls someone a sexual devient

You ought to be ashamed of yourself for making this argument today of all days. OK, just what does what happened today have to do with what happened to Gunn months ago? I'd like to know right now as it seems like you're the one trying to connect the two -- not me. The only thing I remember about the 15th is the new Zealand mosque shooting, not sure the relevance. Only thing I am sure of is that more and more people are being blinded by party lines.

I tend to think it's always been that way, but recent events...involving certain straw-haired ignorami and their enablers...have kind of sent people's personal filters out the window. Crimes are only bad if THE OTHER side does them, and prejudice is okay when it's against someone that's in vague disagreement with what someone thinks is the "right side of history".

No, I never bought into all of this garbage. In fact, Cernovich is a perfect example of my point about the differences between Gunn and people in similar circumstances. With James Gunn now versus who he was, you could easily believe that Gunn is unlikely to repeat past mistakes. Cernovich on the other hand, will almost assuredly continue to repeat the same abhorrent mistakes over and over and over again without learning or growing as a person, all the while attempting to condemn people like Gunn.

Cernovich on the other hand, will almost assuredly continue to repeat the same abhorrent mistakes over and over and over again without learning or growing as a person, all the while attempting to condemn people like Gunn. Indeed. Gunn disavowed his remarks both when this more recently broke, and years back (if my understanding of the reports is correct). We live in a society where Family Guy, a show airing on multiple networks throughout the afternoon, evening, and night, presents mutilation, rape, and other equally appalling subject matter as "comedy". Or, hey...remember when Tom Green was really popular? All the crazy crap he did? Or Jackass? There was even a show about kicking people in the crotch that remember some random internet user claimed was "brilliant". Though I guess I could've just left it at Family Guy, since it's made references to ALL those other examples... While I never would've made Gunn's remarks, I can see how someone who thinks they have to equal that "brand" of comedy could think it's "the same thing". Meanwhile, the idiot that pretended this was a matter of national importance will probably insist that those recent commercials for Nestle Crunch bars showing different people enjoying the same candy as Americans, is somehow opening the door for an attack by ISIS. One admits their mistakes, and the other refuses to, because they've convinced themselves of their "righteous cause" so much that to admit to ANY mistake would leave them open to the level of criticism and scrutiny the LOVE doling out, but can by NO MEANS withstand themselves.
