There is a major difference in calling for someone to be fired over Tweets or comments that were made by a person who has shown remorse, apologized, and not continued to display the same actions or mindset and calling for someone to be fired over Tweets or comments that were made by a person who has shown no remorse, has not apologized, and have continued to display the same mind-set and actions that led to people calling for them to be fired in the first place. Thankfully, Gunn has shown himself to be in the former rather than the latter. In fact, you could even say that Disney stood by their...Gunns...  ...if you wanted too. |

There were people on the left wing that I disagreed over this, but by far the problems with the firing was coming from the right side of politics. It's no coincidence that the tweets were searched out and then became controversial only after Gunn publicly criticized those on the right.
