I've been loving the current Invaders series. It seems like Chip Zdarsky has taken the damage Jason Aaron did to Namor in the short time he used him in Avengers and used it as a starting point to tell a great and fun story.
Anyone else reading this series?

Yep, loving it. I wish Guice was doing the art (as I was led to believe by initial solicits) instead of Magno, but the book is great so far nonetheless.

I haven't last weeks issue yet - did Toro even get a mention let alone an appearance? I just find his omission to be distracting.

As stated before I am 5 months behind so haven't read any of this yet, but am buying it.

There's really no good reason why Toro hasn't even been mentioned so far. As far as I know, he hasn't been killed off again and is still alive.

You're going to love the fight with the time traveling Mecha-Hitler.

Nobody wants to hang around Inhumans after the TV series. I know you're joking, but I hope there's no truth in that. I had actually forgotten that Marvel had made him an Inhuman.

OK thanks, I didn't respond to you right away because I've bee racking my brain trying to remember, without much success, how Invaders Now finished. When it comes to Attilan, as far as I know, it's remains are still sitting in the East River as an island with most of the surviving Inhumans still using it as a homeland.

Well that's a bit more confounding then. If it were out in space or something, then I could see them not using Toro.

That's why I reacted the way I did to your joke. If Marvel is trying to pull back from their push with the Inhumans and it's come down from editorial that Zdarsy can't use Toro in this series as a result it would explain his absence.

I haven't read it yet so it doesn't bother me yet. But yeah, it can be annoying when you know/like some characters and think "hey why aren't they using them in this situation?" (eg. where is Bug and the Annihilators when there is serious space stuff going on?)

He just seemed to disappear from those stories for some reason.
