I might be interested in a future issue depending on the 'team-upper', but your not liking it so far doesn't bode well for Verti... Marvel Team-Up.

Yeah I'll be honest, some of my favorite stories in the OG MTU were multi-part stories, but they didn't show up until way down the line in the book's run and even then they featured different guest-stars in each part. The point of a team-up book is variety so readers can be introduced to and see the star play/interact with different characters. Not the same one 3 or 4 issues in a row.

So is Spiderman the star or the guest? He still has top billing on the cover.

Very true and I hope they quickly go back to that.

But this is Marvel,so Im sure they would rather have a Miss Marvel team up. Spider-Man is their top seller. I have no doubt this series was sold to Marvel on his name primarily. To think that Spider-Man and Marvel Team-Up weren't linked from the very beginning and never changed, given the history of that title and its connection to the character, just seems like a silly thought to me.

Writers just don't know how to do single issues anymore.

I don't know that I fully agree with that. Done in one issues aren't as common as they used to be, but I still see quite a few of them being used in the various series I get.
