I gotta say, I'm looking forward more to this than to Avengers. Looks like they learned their lesson from Godzilla 2014 and actually use Godzilla in this one. And...a modern fx version of Destroy All Monsters...gotta love it!

Okay, love the trailer and all, but why "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"? Are they saying the movie is like Wizard of Oz with 100% less wizards and 100% more giant monsters? Couldn't they maybe have snuck a few ifukube leitmotifs in there? I know they're in the movie, why not the trailer?

Couldn't they maybe have snuck a few ifukube leitmotifs in there? I know they're in the movie, why not the trailer? They are very aware that Zechs is a fan. They could not license some other music for the trailer so went with Somewhere Over the Rainbow, hoping it would trigger his connection to Rainbow Dash, ensuring he sees the movie. |

Still, I think Wizard of Oz would have been vastly improved by the presence of Godzilla. Most things would in fact. |
