Formally introducing the Multiverse bodes well for P4, is this how they will introduce the Fantastic Four or X-Men into the MCU?

They're from here, there was an accident, lost in space, and were done. I've never got the love for the FF personally. I'd rather have something like Alpha Flight, or Great Lakes Avengers, or even (heresy alert) an original team created especially for the movies. I still say that the best idea would be a team up of Jubilee (non-Dracula version), Dazzler, and Boom-Boom, it would be a visual extravaganza. And the lighter, more comedic, tone is where movies are trending right now anyway.
I think it is amazing that Marvel-Disney are talking about plans for Phase 5 though, that they've even managed to get to P4 is a minor miracle (and one no other movie studio, apart from Toho with the Japanese Godzilla franchise-bring back Gigan and the Space Simians, has managed), and now they are talking about a new phase five-to-ten years away still.

Original team created for the movie...that is funny. I just want to see the conniption fit from the comics purists if Disney were to create a brand new superhero character to headline a movie in the MCU continuity. To have casual movie fans referring to them as a comic book hero, and see the reaction; cause you know that would be the mother of all hissy fits. Comics Pit would get so many blog posts out of it. Especially if that then went on to make all the money, which it probably would as a Marvel movie. And I mean brand new, not taking an existing line up and changing out some of the faces, nor just changing up an origin story or something. Or just Mantra from the Malibu comics, Marvel owns the rights to those still and has never done anything with it.

The xmen are easy too. They existed, then the original team got lost on krakoa.in phase 5 Xavier has to build a new team to rescue them.
