Disney doing something original...last time that happened Walt was still young. I despise Disney and everything they are. That said I do need go technical on your statement... Walt's 41st year through his 66th (when he died) included some of the most original stories ever told. Namely, Carl Barks' incredible Donald Duck run from 1942-1966. Sheer genius through and through. There a reason why Carl Barks was one of the first three inductees in the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame (with Jack Kirby and Will Eisner himself).

It was a joke.And yes,Carl Barks did great stuff. As a company,Disney is more or less Borg.They are most famous for ADAPTING fairy tales,for one example.
