According to Bleeding Cool, Tom King's Batman run will be ending a bit earlier than the previously indicated 100+ issues.
Hopefully, somebody at DC finally actually read the last several years of Batman and all of Heroes in Crisis and realized they needed to get him the FUCK away from the popular icons and back on smaller-profile characters where he can basically do whatever dumbass shit he wants without anyone caring.

I got a notification on my phone about King saying he was going to change Bats "for a generation" or something like that.
I wonder if whatever that change was, had something to do with his removal...

Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk Well, there is precedence for that...but apparently Didio "isn't that guy" anymore...but then, it's one thing to marry off a more recent creation tangentially related to Bats, it's another thing to marry off Bats himself. Though if he had this big 100 issue story in mind this whole time, the higher-ups would've known about it before printing started on #1, and I doubt they'd kick him off with 15 issues to go. Unless they were being jackasses INTENTIONALLY instead of general incompetence. |
