Lately they made a habit of hiring rapists,so that probably didnt help. And I guess people didnt line up to buy a book by Zoe Quinn.

All jokes aside - Vertigo hasn't meant much as a banner unless it had a flagship title – as they did from the start with the likes of: Swamp Thing, Sandman, Preacher, 100 Bullets, Y: the Last Man and Fables. After Fables they really didn’t have that kind of big book. Losing Karen Berger didn’t help matters – and let it be said that Karen needs to be the comics Hall of Fame for what she did during her years at Vertigo.
In the end, Vertigo has had a great run. If it has to go, better it be sooner rather than later with its legacy tarnished by years of sub-standard titles.
