I can not possibly begin to fathom what a fictional character could have done to cause such ire and eternal torment.
DC Fans Prior to 2005 - Yeah, Barry was an important character but Wally surpassed him in every way as the superior Flash.
DC - Right, right, right. We hear you. Here's Infinite Crisis!
DC Fans Prior to 2007 - Yeah, Bart's ok but we really just want Wally back.
DC - Right, right, right. We hear you. We're going to kill Bart to bring Wally back with super powered toddlers that will often take the forefront of any stories featuring Wally for the foreseeable future.
DC Fans Prior to 2008 - Killing Bart was a bit extreme and the kids are a bit annoying. At least we have Wally back but we'd really just like Wally to act like Wally again, you know?
DC - Right, right, right. We hear you. Here's Final Crisis!
DC Fans Prior to 2011 - Cool, we got Bart back and we guess it's cool that Barry's back as well but can we have more Wally centric stories please?

DC Fans Throughout 2012 - Some of these changes are kinda cool but where's Wally? At least we still have Young Justice.

Surprisingly, Lobdell/Booth did churn out the best Flash tale-- since well Wally's ongoing last year with the final Hanna Barbera crossover.
