There are many great monologues in movie history, but this one has always stood out to me. More so because he took a wordy, vastly longer speech that would have lost the audience and sounded more like a travelogue, and turned it into the classic that it became. Very few actors can do that.

Well, much like Mark Twain, Hauer had incredible timing, dying in the same year as his great character, Roy Batty.
