People were not happy with some of Diamond's practices and that they were pretty much a monopoly, but I haven't heard many LCS folks happy with this situation. It's early days, so maybe they'll come around. Still, having to give money to your online competitors and shifting their shipments to Tuesday will piss off some. I got the most recent Previews catalog and it is due June 18 to put in orders. DC is in there, so I guess whoever was counting on ordering via Previews is SOL. Dunno why DC didn't wait until those solicits were fulfilled (they did tell Diamond they'd be sticking with them previously, along with the other supply chains) before totally cutting ties.
