Same here. Ditto. But then again I miss Nova having a series, too.

Ditto. But then again I miss Nova having a series, too. Me too. But I don't care for Sam, and nowadays I think if there were a new series, it would have Sam.

As for me, I think Songbird is a character who deserves a shot at a solo book. Marvel seems to be falling all over themselves to find viable female leads, and I think Melissa would lend to a good, classic-style superhero book. I'd also personally kill for solo books for Firestar and Stingray, but I know neither of those is ever happening. I'm not sure Firestar or Stingray could support an ongoing, but I would welcome a limited/maxi series (I'm not so big on Firestar, but always found Stingray an interesting, little explored character).
I'd definitely be interested in a Songbird series.
I miss the old Quasar series.
Oh I don't think there's any way in hell either of those could support an ongoing, but I'd love to see Marvel try. Especially with Stingray, who I personally think is awesome. Super cool look.

He probably has one of the most unique costumes in comics. Whenever he's on a cover he stands out over every other character on that cover. If Marvel had given him his own series back when the news stand was still important to the industry I'm sure it would have done well. It's a costume that just demands your attention.

Thank you Marie Severin for the visuals.

And thanks to whomever it was to change the interior yellow's to white. His costume was originally yellow and red? That wouldn't have looked anywhere near as good.

If I'm being totally honest, at least 95% of my love for Stingray comes from his costume.

I know it may come as a bit of a shock to some, but...I'm actually not the biggest fan of Geoff Johns....that said, there are two characters he created that I wouldn't mind seeing a solo or at least a mini for...Stargirl, which struck me as some of his best writing, probably because it came from the heart, and...Dexstarr the kitty! Yes, he's basically very likely a riff on Power Girl's kitty, only with actual superpowers, but I found his origin story in one of those comics to be a bit of a tearjerker...and I'm a bit of an animal lover...another shock I suppose.

During the 50 States Initiative thing, he was based in Hawai‘i, so you know if they continued with that, I wouldn't be against it.

IIRC Stingray was last seen in Deadpool titles. Also,we might as well start a topic- Characters who should have ONLY ONE series.

Above sentence explains why I dont keep up with Marvel anymore.Or at least thats a small part.

Thankfully, Zdarsky appears to be explaining/on his way to fixing that in Invaders.
