Y’all, I thought I was prepared.
I was NOT prepared.
I was a mess of emotions throughout for different reasons, but that last hour? That whole last hour wrecked me with a hodgepodge of sadness (I cried manly tears) and exhilaration and pure utter geekout moments (I finally got the 3 moments I’ve always wanted most from these films, all involving Cap). Through it all, this was pure joy at watching every single person involved with this whole 22-film shebang leave it all out on the field for 3 hours. I am unbelievably satisfied and can’t wait to go see it again.

One I was kind of expecting and would have been pretty disappointed if they did not do. {Spoiler}The Cry The second I was hoping for, but was not expecting them to do. {Spoiler}Cap is Worthy That one, the entire audience cheered. It was awesome.

{Spoiler} Worthy, Assemble, the dance Those 3 things for me...were everything. The rest of the movie was just gravy at that point. And yeah, my theater went nuts for both the first two.

It was pretty damn good with the Mjolnir scene being the best part of the movie.
There are somethings that bugged me tho...
Anytime Lee shows up it takes me right out of the film. it took a while before I got into it again. (And sacrilege it may be, but I'm glad those cameos are finally over.)
The other time I was pulled out of the movie was with the Lady Liberators. It's unbelievable that every single female character (sans Gamora) showed up at just that moment, on just that piece of turf. It was all just... unbelievable.
I know everyone loves the raccoon - but apart from being comedy relief (which Thor did sooo much better) what does he actually do?
Curious on a few things...
Question #1- in the Carol Danvers movie, at the credit scene, Banner was Banner, but in this film he was Greeny. How does this line up?
Question #2 - did this movie retcon the TV show Agent Carter?
Question #3 - Will the next films deal with the after effects of reintroducing half of every living thing in an instant? Will Spider-Man have to deal with how 50% of Peter's peers are all now in college or graduated? Un-ashed husbands suddenly return to find their wives have remarried? Will an immediate doubling in the number of locusts destroy the farmlands? I'd imagine there'd be a lot of chaos beyond a bunch of people trying to trade in 'their' brand new Samsung Galaxy S-4's for S-10's.

Lady Liberators -- more unbelievable than time travel, talking alien raccoons and tree-beings, all-powerful rocks, and superheroes in general? Come on, amoebas, let the little girl fans have their moment too and just accept it for that. Don't be that mouth-breather...you're better than that.
Rocket -- he pilots the spaceship in the opening act, figures out how to convince Thorbowski to leave New Asgard, and I would assume provides some technical assistance in constructing the time machine
Banner -- I may already be misremembering specific details, but Banner doesn't Hulk up until until we see Professor Hulk in the 5 years in the future portion, right? That lines up with the CM credit stinger with no issues
Agent Carter -- I don't think it explicitly retcons it, but I've forgotten a lot of the details; I know she wasn't engaged or married at the end of S2, and the stuff in the 70s shows she was director at that time, but that's long after the time of S2 so no worries there
Last question -- I doubt they do much of that, and honestly I hope they don't...they'll have to make a quick reference in Far From Home to Ned, Flash, not-MJ, and probably Aunt May all being snapped to explained their ages/still being together, but that's really all they need and I hope they stay as far away from any other potential repercussions and explanations as possible. That stuff's frankly unnecessary going forward for what these movies are and are supposed to be...escapist entertainment.

Can someone use spoiler tags to tell me how Thanos loses? And what do Captain Marvel and Nebula do in this movie? And what Loki's status is at the end?

Can someone use spoiler tags to tell me how Thanos loses? And what do Captain Marvel and Nebula do in this movie? And what Loki's status is at the end? If you're sure you want to know:
{Spoiler} 1) it's complicated. 2019 Thanos gets decapitated by Stormbreaker. But 2014 Thanos travels to the future, gets his hands on the Gauntlet in 2024, but before he can use it, Tony steals it from him, says "I am Iron man" and gives him a snap 2a) Capt. Marvel gets a bad haircut, destroys 2014 Thanos's flagship during the big battle in 2024, then fights 2014 Thanos long enough to keep him from using the Gauntlet until Tony can work his magic
2b) Nebula...you need to just watch. There's two of her involved and there's double crosses, and 2024 Nebula ends up shooting her 2014 self and it's all awesome
3) Loki from just post-Battle of New York (literally, they're perp-walking him through the lobby of Stark/Avengers tower after he says he'll have that drink now) gets his hands on the Tesseract and disappears.
