Whassat about? It's about two estranged friends going on surreal journey on their final Halloween together. Thing I really like is the Dia de los Muertos sequence near the end has wiccan singer Wendy Rule as the Weeping Woman. She also sings during the end credits.

You know what they say about the sequel never equaling? And the counter-arguments, like Godfather 2 and Empire Strikes Back? Well, I thought "Buckaroo Banzai Against the World Crime League" was much better even than the first movie. I mean damn, Peter Weller was great in his second outing as Banzai. You should all see that movie on Netflix or something...

Throw in Top Secret while you're at it.

On Golden Pond is not a "little" movie.
And I can't stand Katherine Hepburn. Her voice is worse than thousand cats in a room of ten thousand rocking chairs with their nails scraping 1000 chalkboards.

Throw in Top Secret while you're at it. Between those two movies I still think Val Kilmer should have had a bigger carer than he did.

It was critically successful, but not commercially successful. And it was not a huge budget movie. I think it counts as a "little" movie. As for Ms. Hepburn, she would have been the first to tell you how little your opinion of her mattered to her.
