From Kirby, Ditko, Lee & Thomas to Perez, Byrne, Mantlo & Claremont to Busiek, Waid, JRJR & Zdarsky What's your favorite run? Best artist? Worst writer? Speak up and be heard (or ignored - it's 50/50).

Gruenwald's Quasar made Wendell Vaughn my favourite comic book character.

My first comic book was Fantastic Four #160 and immediately loved the team. It was in the first over-sized Holiday Grab-Bag Treasury Edition (that reprinted FF #25 & 26) that I realized that Benjamin J Grimm was my favorite individual character - and he still is. This is a pic of my first comic - which I still have.

Hard to argue against these as some of the best: Lee/Ditko, Dr. Strange Lee/Kirby, Fantastic Four Bryne, Fantastic Four Peter David, The Incredible Hulk Busiek/Perez, The Avengers Miller, Daredevil

Simonson Thor Kirby Thor DeMatteis/Zeck Captain America Mantlo/Golden Micronauts Moench/Sienkiewicz Moon Knight Moench Master of Kung Fu Michelnie/Shooter/Perez/Byrne Avengers Michelnie/Layton Iron Man Grant Man-Thing Wolfman/Colan Tomb of Dracula Nocenti Daredevil Gruenwald Squadron Supreme Byrne/Claremont X-Men
It's simply amazing how so many of these were pre-1990.

Probably going to take some grief for this, but I'll throw Conway/Andru's Amazing Spider-Man run in there.

What was your favourite stuff from Mark Grunewald? Hard to choose, but if I have to... Marvel 2 in 1 > Quasar > Squadron Supreme > Hawkeye mini > Captain America Taking 2 in 1, from single issue stories into the whole Project Pegasus saga and onward was just great stuff (no disrespect to Ron Wilson, but getting Perez, Byrne & Bingham didn't hurt either).

Thunderbolts are my personal favorite;from anything Marvel ever did. Ofc,they dont really treat the team with respect these days.Which you could probably say about ANY team...

Honestly, my personal favorite run is the original 150+ issues of Marvel Team-Up. Remains my favorite Marvel book.
