Avengers I’ll start this with the run that made me an Avengers fan: Surprisingly it’s Englehart/Milgrom’s West Coast Avengers book. It is this book that made me a Hawkeye fan, a Hank Pym fan, and I still count Lost in Space-Time as one of top 3 favorite Avengers stories ever. After that: I loved everything about West Coat Avengers right up until John Byrne took over the title.

Really? I liked Byrne's run. I know you're not alone, I've heard lots of people say they liked his run on that title. However, I also know I'm not alone in hating it.

Not a lot of middle ground when it comes to Byrne, it seems. He is a bit of a polarizing force at times.

The only thing I didn't like about Byrne's Avengers West Coast is that JB didn't get to continue on it.
