Who do you guys think is Marvel's best western character? I'd say Two-Gun Kid myself.

Who do you guys think is Marvel's best western character? I'd say Two-Gun Kid myself. First place: Two-Gun. I wanted a Hawkeye/Two-Gun series so bad back in the day. Even though I'm a huge Jonah Hex fan, I never really got into Marvel's western books, so I really don't have any love for Rawhide, Kid Colt, etc. Now upping the time-line, I have liked Texas Twister, the 1970's Red Wolf and especially... Second place: Wyatt Wingfoot

Michael Golden, 1982. Just a wonderful piece of art.

Michael Golden, 1982. Just a wonderful piece of art. That's odd. That same piece WAS in my opening post - but now it's gone. Weird.

Now that war of the Realms is coming I'm even more glad that I started getting Thor on a monthly basis last year. I think I'll get more enjoyment out of the story with a little bit of lead time background going in.

Good lord y’all, the May solicits show something like 196* War of the Realms tie-ins. Who is still buying all this shit in today’s world of $4 and $5 comics???
* only slight exaggeration

Marvel movies do a better job of capturing the essence of those characters, I think...and that seems like it might be on the wane.

Why hasn't Marvel done a prequel to Age of Apocalypse? I was reading the latest issue of Uncanny X-Men with the Dark Beast in it and I was wondering what made him the way he is. I want to know how the Age of Apocalypse world came about.
