I've read City on the Edge of Forever a few times - each time wondering... "why do they say this is better than what aired?". Kirk stopping Bones from saving her is a far better ending imo.

 Mister Miracle: Barnes & Noble Exclusive Edition – Wow. Just wow. This is/was an incredible book. I had heard nothing but great things about it and straight out of the gate, I knew that I was reading something unique. Something special. Not one single moment of this book disappointed. I was at that wonderfully sublime point between not wanting to put it down and not wanting it to be over. In terms of character redefining arcs are concerned, I would put this book up there with DNA’s Nova or even James Robinson’s Starman. Seriously. It’s that damn good. It’s also an absolutely gorgeous book. Tom King and Mitch Gerads’ Mister Miracle is easily one of my favorite books that I have read in the last several years and it could quite possibly find itself very high on my list of favorite comics of all-time. |
