To go back to The City on the Edge of forever- what the difference between the teleplay and the episode?Other then McCoy being in the episode?

Just found out this existed.
I was in the middle of the graphic novel when the drugs began to take hold.

Showtime at the Apollo Some bad design choices in term of layout and lettering keep this from being great. All that said, the history of the theater is fascinating. Well worth it to at least look at some of the stories from its early years.

Captain America by Mark Waid & Chris Samnee Vol. 1: Home of the Brave - I've been wanting to read this since I was catching up on Waid and Samnee's Daredevil run. To say that I was disappointed wouldn't be accurate, however, I really wish that the second half of this book would have been longer. Particularly the fight with Kraven the Hunter. That was just old school fun that I could have easily read an entire arc of just by itself.

Thoughts on what I've read so far:
1) Robin killed a man in his first appearance by knocking the guy off a girder.
2) I love how after he gets his face scarred Harvey Dent's suit goes from a solid orange suit to a orange and purple suit. Must of been the style at the time to have a split color suit.
3) Harvey Dent's last name was originally Kent. I wish they kept Kent for the last name made him Superman's cousin.

I don't know what they mean by teleplay since Ellison had several versions. You can read about what and why they changed some of the original story elements here:

Yeah, Bones was originally hardly in it, it was some random red shirt 'drug dealer' that jumped through the gate. The drug dealer angle was the first thing rejected as Roddenberry didn't want to slip in dystopia. The really big change was the ending. Kirk stood frozen as Spock stopped Red Shirt from saving Edith. As great as the original story is, I think most would agree, Jim stopping Bones/Red Shirt adds a ton more emotion into the scene.

Harlan Ellison is telling you to go fuck yourself from the grave.

Big Trouble in Little China Vol. 4: I Hate the 80's - "Ossified 80's Man." That is the best way that I can describe this chapter in Boom's Big Trouble in Little China series. I feel like they have really hit their stride and captured the voice of Jack Burton with this book. I have absolutely no idea where this series is going but I'm totally on board for what comes next.
